Karen Coombes, founder and designer is the heart and soul of her creation, Scarlett. Growing up in England she emigrated to Canada with her husband and family in 1998. Starting as a sought after designer for friends and family, her love of the creative process and commitment to quality, blossomed and Scarlett Greetings was born, with husband Adam joining the team as sales & marketing manager.
Since 2003 when our first collection was launched in Canada, Scarlett has grown from strength to strength. Our cards are now distributed throughout the world and have been recognised by the American greeting card association being nominated as a LOUIE finalist 3 years in a row. (equivalent of the HENRIES in the UK).
Adam and Karen both natives of England and looking to spend more time “back home” registered Scarlett in the UK and launched at Top Drawer 2008. The UK office is managed by Adam’s sister Lesley (so its now truly a family affair), with a Fulfilment house in Nottingham – A La Carte – to service the UK and European markets. They now divide their time between both offices which is the best of both worlds!
We are committed to helping the enviroment in any way we can. All of our board is FSC approved with some being cotton based and printed using Soy based inks and green power. We use FSC approved envelopes and are changing over to 100% recycled where possible. Please see individual collections for details.
